SpezifikationenThis machine (Elemetal Zinc Sulphate MVR System) is an
evaporation/crystallization unit that concentrates zinc sulphate
solution past saturation so zinc precipitates as ZnSO₄·1H₂O
crystals. The crystals are then separated from the mother liquor in a
decanter centrifuge, producing a solids cake for downstream drying and
clean condensate that can be reused. The complete plant/module
consists of (main machines/equipment): Feed section: feed pump and
feed preheater: Feed to the module: 1065 kg/h, 50°C, 29% TDS. Feed is
preheated in PH01 (TL6 PHE, 28 plates, C276 plates, EPDMP gaskets) to
about 76°C using hot condensate (heat recovery).
Evaporation/crystallization: AlfaFlash plate evaporator/heat
exchanger, separator vessel, recirculation pump, condensate pump,
de-superheating/condensate spray arrangement: Main evaporator/heat
exchanger: E10-W10 AlfaFlash PHE (M15, 78 plates: 74× C2000 + 4×
Titanium, EPDMP gaskets). Flashing and separation: slurry flashes
after an orifice and enters cyclone separator E10-SE10 (vapour out
top, liquid/slurry out bottom). Recirculation pump E10-P10: 100 m³/h,
2.1 bar, 22 kW. Condensate pump E10-P11: 1 m³/h, 3.6 bar, 2.2 kW.
De-superheating spray: small condensate stream sprayed into vapour
before MVR (flow indicator range 60–160 L/h). MVR/steam section:
MVR blower/compressor (steam used mainly for start-up/makeup)
Condenser section: condenser with condensate pump: Condenser pump
CO50-P50: 0.1 m³/h, 2.0 bar, 1.1 kW Vacuum section: liquid-ring
vacuum pump with seal-water cooler and vacuum separator vessel :
Vacuum pump VA60-VP60: liquid-ring, 30 m³/h, 1.1 kW. Solids
recovery: decanter centrifuge, centrate tank and centrate pump:
Centrate pump PD70-P70: 5.0 m³/h, 1.2 bar, 1.5 kW Condensate
handling/cooling: condensate cooler and condensate/hot-water tank:
Condensate cooler PD70-W70: PHE M6, 12 plates, 316 plates, EPDMC
gaskets. Utility/CIP system (outside battery limits but part of the
overall plant): seal-water tank (310-TK01) and pump, rinse/wash-water
tank (310-TK03) and pump, CIP tank (310-TK04) and pump: CIP
connections provided: CIP liquid and hot water can be fed into the
module for cleaning. CIP modes listed: hot water, caustic, caustic +
acid. Control system: control panel with HMI/SCADA check System is
