Aerosol Jet Printer
Model - AJ300CE
The Optomec AJ300CE Aerosol Jet Printer, introduced around 2011, is an
additive manufacturing system designed for high-resolution,
non-contact printing of electronic and biological materials onto
various substrates, including non-planar surfaces. It utilizes Aerosol
Jet technology to deposit fine-feature patterns with feature sizes as
small as 10 micrometers.
Key Features:
- High Precision Printing: Capable of producing feature sizes down to
10 µm, enabling the creation of intricate patterns necessary for
advanced electronic components.
- Versatile Material Compatibility: Supports a wide range of
materials, including conductive, resistive, and dielectric inks, with
viscosities ranging from 1 to 1000 cP.
- Non-Contact, Conformal Printing: The non-contact deposition process
allows for printing on complex, three-dimensional surfaces without
damaging the substrate.
- Integrated Laser Processing (Optional): Some models include a 700 mW
laser for post-processing, enabling curing of printed materials on
temperature-sensitive substrates.
Specifications:
- Minimum Line Width: 10 µm, with a 20 µm pitch, depending on
material and surface properties.
- Print Speed: Up to 200 mm/s, with typical speeds around 100 mm/s.
- Substrate Size: Accommodates substrates up to 300 x 300 mm, with
temperature control up to 120°C.
- Viscosity Range: Handles materials with viscosities from 1 to 1000
cP, depending on the atomization method used.
