DC-1 is designed to automate and simplify microscopic differential
blood counts in low-throughput laboratories. The system uses
high-speed robotics and digital imaging of artificial neural network
technology to automatically locate and capture high-quality images of
cells. It enables both stand-alone and laboratory network
installations. WBC, RBC and PLT cell images are stored in a database
together with the results of the differential analysis.
